This is the video that the record labels don’t want you to see. It is Awesome.
OK Go – This Too Shall Pass from OK Go on Vimeo.
OK. I lied. They do want you to see it. But on their terms. In this extensive and very thought provoking open letter to the world posted on Gizmodo, OK Go’s front man Damian explains why their record label wont allow this video be played or embedded anywhere but YouTube. It’s the modern age struggle between art and money. Record labels need money, but the artists just want everyone to enjoy what they have created. The artist needs the label and the label needs the artist. In this case OK Go has found the great Vimeo loop-hole and allowed their video to be seen by the masses. Good for the artist, bad for the label. I think this is the coolest video I have seen in LONG time and you should post it where ever you can. You should also check out the letter on Gizmodo, but make sure to come on back now!

Lots of Arty babes equals lots of Awesome. Watch their eyes, it’s amazing how half way through some of these morphs you can see different emotions. Happy, sad, hungry, cross, tasty, smelly, interested, not interested, and some bits of…

Two Weeks – Grizzly Bear from Gabe Askew on Vimeo.
“Taking a break from his day job in architectural visualization, Gabe Askew’s fan video for Grizzly Bear’s “Two Weeks” goes in an entirely different direction from the official video directed by Patrick Daughters (embedded after the jump).
Gabe’s 2.5D opus is a delightful journey through countless faux analogue dioramas inhabited by paper-mâché-like creatures and flattened illustrations that pop out of the frame. Gabe nimbly avoids the “say cow, see cow” approach, instead opting for metaphorical devices that mix naturalistic imagery with human forms gliding, battling and embracing through myriad scenes.”
Thanks Motionographer
I also drive a tractor around on a farm and listen to rap music. Zach we should hang out.
I guess this is old but it’s new to me!
Hit the Jump to see Zach Galifianakis berate some fan.
Spoiler! So is this like real time satellite from grannys’ house or a orchestra playing with a youtube video? Either way it rocks, but for now I will pretend it’s a satellite feed. Play on Catcerto!

This was created with Trapcode Particular. Nice Algorithms my man,
but… I would like to see this with more instruments.
Before I became a hot shot blogger I used to dabble in the production biz. This song hits close to home.
This may even make it to our Classics Reel. I mean… Wow, if I was in Indiana I would totally buy some Furniture. This guy is a genius! Just look on Youtube and he has tons of these shitty gems!

We recently posted the Carlton Dance and the Hammer Pance so this here T-mobile commercial fits right in. This specific type of spontaneous dance explosion is rarely captured in the wild.
