“The main focus of Rock Band 3 development was finding new ways to experience the music and actually doubling down, if you will, on our investment in compelling gameplay,” project director Daniel Sussman told USA Today. “We are adding a new instrument and we’re adding a whole new mode, which is designed basically to answer that staleness factor.”
“That new instrument will be a 25-key MIDI keyboard, which can be played either sitting down or standing up. Combined with the three-part harmonies introduced in The Beatles: Rock Band, the new keyboard brings the total number of possible virtual rockers able to play at once up to seven.”

“Also on the way is an even more sophisticated controller built by Fender that’s a fully functional six-string Squier Stratocaster guitar. There’ll be three additional cymbals added to the drum kit for use with the pro mode. With these innovations, the game takes a gigantic leap from pretending to play instruments to learning to be a real musician.”

Holy Morly that was horrible, although I really want a cheeseburger right now, 2 more after jump
Check it out around 1:00, seriously awesome mod, almost as cool as that sneaky spy dog. The attention to detail is asstronomical.

I have no idea either.
“This new game is called simply MechWarrior, and will serve as a reboot of sorts for the franchise. You’ll still be piloting mechs, but the developers reckon that current console technology will for the first time let you feel like you’re really behind the sticks of a giant fighting robot.
Live action versions of games rarely do the game any justice. I realize that this is just a trailer for ODST but it’s a pretty kick ass trailer IMO and I can’t wait for ODST!

“ One of the biggest launches in Microsoft history. The central and very hands on demo of a new breed of Windows. Show and tell that goes back to the roots and very basics of making computers run. And run well. Real life scenarios. Real features. And one equally real developer from Microsoft on screen, showing how and why this version is different. That’s accountability. Silverlight and Flash development, live action, motion graphics – and a few special effect tricks we borrowed from European theatre stages anno 1700.”
Cool. I wish I could blast super powers out of my hands. Not a bad job compositing either.
This kid will go far.

Back during the 1990 Nintendo World Championship, the winner and runner ups all received a gold cartridges made specifically for the 1990 championship. The games on this included Super Mario Brothers, Tetris and Rad Race and featured a switch on the front that was used to enforce time limits on the gameplay. There were other cartridges made for the semi-finalists with the same compilation on them, however they were gray and not the special edition gold.
So far only 12 of the gold cartridges have surfaced (according to wikipedia), however one of them went up for sale on eBay and ended up going for a record high $17,500 beating the previous record by $2,500 which also was for a 1990 Nintendo World Championship gold cartridge. Time to go through my old game cartridges, I might be sitting on a gold mine.

WOW! Now everyone and their mom can make Xbox Achievement images with this Handy Tool.
